In a recent ruling, Garena has limited Lesbian, Gay or Transgendered tournament players in its Iron Solari LOL League saying that “Lesbian, Gay, Transgendered Women members may probably have some unfair advantage.”
Most netizens have reacted on this and there’s an uproar now. How could gender play an advantage here? For me, this is really discriminatory as can be. I think that they should have laid out the ground rules on what constitutes and “all-women’s team” before-hand, similar to probably a volleyball or other all-girl sport.
Meanwhile, Garena, the parent company of Garena PH has tweeted about their umbrella policy of equal-gender in reaction to the Philippine policy.
LGBT players are welcome at official LoL tourneys. We’re working with partners to ensure consistency with our values across all regions.

Hey Garena, someone has to account for this ruling. Perhaps you could go and talk to your Community, Product or e-sports guys and do-damage control and clean up this mess.
